Proof Of Editing

These shots were taken during the editing process of our joint video. The editing software we used was Premiere Pro. Me, Frank and Izy all had a part to play in the creation of the video. While i stared in the video, i also edited the video along side my other group members. We used two monitors to edit the video, one side  had the actual video creation on it, and the other monitor had the preview screen on it. As i was more familiar with Premiere Pro, Frank and Izy directed  my moves and told me what we should have, which shots should go where and how we should layout the video.

Filming - Production #2

We have now got all of the shots and are now editing our video's individually. I have planned that my video is going to have an old filter added onto it, just as a stylistic preference. Unfortunately, some of the video we got was corrupt and does not look good  in the slightest. Also, the frame rate of some of the videos are different which has kind of been a set back and they need to be corrected before they can go in the video. This is going to take some time as we need to change it frame by frame

Filming - Production

As a group, we have decided to do most of the filming outside in a woodland area near where we live. This is because we want to have a subtle feeling video but we also think this could look really nice if done properly. We have also got shots in the white room as this is probably going to take up most of the performance based video. We are going to get shots from outside today which will hopefully be good enough for our final video.

Editing Software

The editing software I will be using is Adobes Premiere Pro as it is the simplest to use and understand. It also allows me to render my video in high quality and also allows it to be used on any platform for my target audience. As my video will be able to be viewed in high quality, it will appeal to more than just my targeted audience and other Hip hop fans who are looking to explore in the genre will be captivated by it.

I have looked at other editing software's like resolve and Filmora. These editing software's all seem to be very easy to use but they do not have the capability to use advanced features that I will be using in my video.

Risk Assessment

This is the risk assessment for our locations. Before we start filming, we did a risk assessment of each locations. These consist of incidences that could happen at each location.

Locations Used In The Creation Of Our Music Video

Locations – Draft
Locations – Final
Woodlands – different spots
White room
Open field
Mic booth
White room
My house / sofa / outside the glass

These are the locations that were used during the creation of the video. All the locations used in the Draft video were replaced and re-filmed because they were bad shots. The framing was all off, and the woodlands and the outside shots did not fit the genre. The clothing I was wearing was also not adequate. We also didn’t have a chorus performer in the draft scenes compared to the final version. We also used the white room location for two scenes. One of which when I’m on my own, and the other is when I’m performing with the chorus singer (Joel Roberts).
